Comme chaque année la ville de Sisteron à dignement commémoré l’armistice du 11 novembre 1918. Ce 98ème anniversaire a bénéficié d’une forte affluence de la population sisteronaise ainsi que la présence remarquée du sénateur Jean-Yves Roux : « Je crois que cela faisait plus de 20 ans que nous n’avions pas eu le privilège de recevoir notre sénateur pour cette cérémonie » se félicitait le maire Daniel Spagnou.

Étaient également présents la Conseillère Départementale Isabelle Morineaud, de nombreux représentants des Associations Patriotiques et de leur drapeau, des représentants de la Gendarmerie Nationale, de la Police Municipale, des Sapeurs-Pompiers et élus locaux.
