Avec un demi-milliard d’individus, l’Europe représente la 3ème population mondiale. Elle se compose de vingt huit pays pour vingt quatre langages officiels. Forte de sa puissance économique et sociale, l’union européenne représentant plus de 23% du Produit Intérieur Brut mondial, un PIB supérieur à ceux des États-Unis, de la Chine et du Japon. Cependant, seulement dix huit Nations Européenne adhèrent à la monnaie unique, l’UE doit donc impérativement réagir, et au plus vite utiliser ses atouts pour tendre vers une citoyenneté Européenne, préserver notre bien vivre ensemble et contribuer au maintien de la paix ainsi que de notre sécurité. Bernard Ribault, ancien adjoint de Sisteron et Président fondateur de la Société d’Économie Mixte et Pierre Bernard-Reymond, ancien Ministre, ancien Sénateur et Maire honoraire de Gap, spécialistes en la matière, ont tenu une réunion-débat à Sisteron.

I’m not saying that the state doesn’t matter, because interstate competition and race to the bottom policy making is key as well.
