Après 26 années de bons et loyaux services pour le Sisteron Journal, notre ami Jean Mouchez a donc décidé de prendre une retraite au combien méritée et de me passer le témoin. 26 ans, plus d’un quart de siècle, c’est juste énorme et je ne sais pas si je serai moi-même capable de tenir la distance. Néanmoins je suis pleinement conscient que le Sisteron Journal est bien plus qu’un simple papier, c’est une institution !

I am finishing a book on mentoring and coaching, and I needed better words than mentor/coach-novice/struggling teacher to describe a two-way relationship based on mutuality rather than hierarchy. In other words I needed to avoid words that conveyed a helper and a helpee relationship. With assistance from my copy editor, we agreed on the terms collegial partner and collegial partnerships. Words are important!

  39. Thanks for your post. I also think laptop computers have gotten more and more popular right now, and now are sometimes the only type of computer utilized in a household. This is because at the same time that they are becoming more and more cost-effective, their processing power keeps growing to the point where there’re as highly effective as personal computers through just a few years ago.

  47. Very interesting. This made me wonder if I’d want to be « cured » by some operation, if that became possible. I’m not sure I’d be who I am if I did. At the same time, I’d like to see how it felt to be « normal. » But if I didn’t like it, there would be no going back. It sounds as though they are getting that choice to possibly be a reality someday.

I have only recently gotten into cooking real meals that involve some prep work, but as a dietitian and moving into that grown up category, I feel like I really need to do this to raise healthy kids when the time comes. It's a work in progress. This soup looks great. Tomato soup is always a great classic, but the twist with the sun dried tomatoes I think would make it so much more flavorful. Have a great day.

Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
